Whilst Covid is still doing the rounds we are pleased that attendance in many of our classes has been high. Unfortunately a number of our staff members have also had Covid so we are very grateful that our staff team have pulled together and covered for them – there really are no supply staff to call upon. 

Just a reminder that the deadline for collection of raffle and silent auction prizes from the office is tomorrow. There are still quite a few left!

Birthday Books

Nursery applications

If your child was born between 1st September 2018 and 31st August 2019 you may wish to make an application for a place at our nursery to start in September of this year.  Please download the form from our website or collect one from the school office.  It should be returned with a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport.  Applications close on March 4th and offers will be posted during the first week of May.

Holy Trinity School Parent and Teacher Prayer

Our next prayer meeting will be this Friday 14th January at 2.30pm – 3.15pm in the Kingfisher Hut. Everyone is welcome, so please do come along if you are able to. NSPCC’s Speak out. Stay safe.

I am pleased to tell you that this term we will be participating in the NSPCC’s Speak out. Stay safe. online programme. This consists of an online assembly and supporting classroom based activities. Speak out. Stay safe. is a safeguarding programme available to all primary schools in the UK. It aims to help children understand abuse in all its forms and to recognise the signs of abuse in a child friendly way. Children are taught to speak out if they are worried, either to a trusted adult or Childline.

In the online assembly, the Speak out. Stay safe. messages are delivered in a fun and interactive way with the help of their mascot Buddy as well as special guest appearances from Ant and Dec.

We have studied the content of the materials and are extremely confident that they are appropriate for primary-school-aged children. By the end of the programme, we’re convinced children will feel empowered – knowing how they can speak out and stay safe.

Childline Under 12’s Website – Childline also have a website with age appropriate advice for primary school children on topics such as bullying.  It also has games and other interactive tools. Your child can visit it at www.childline.org.uk/kids.
