Newsletter 21st April

Dear Parents and Carers 21/04/2022

Welcome to the Summer Term. I hope you all enjoyed the Easter Break and the lovely sunshine that we were blessed with.

Easter Service

It was lovely to be able to hold our Easter service in church on the last day of the Spring Term. The service was led by Tom Rutter on his very last day of being our Chaplain before he and his family move down to Cornwall. It was good to have an opportunity to say thank you to Tom and Michelle, who also worked in our school on behalf of Riverbank, and to wish them well for the future.

School Street

Just a reminder that cameras have now been installed to support the School Street. Please do not drive on Carrington Road between 8.25 – 9.10 and 3.00 – 3.45.

Sport

There has been a busy start to the sporting calendar this term – some KS1 children took part in a gymnastics festival yesterday, some KS2 children took part in a panathlon today and there is an inter-school KS2 gymnastics competition tomorrow. Our boys football team will also compete in a quarter final match against Queens on Tuesday.
